Amy Benn

With almost a decade of experience in Nursing, Amy has familiarized herself with 7 specialty areas over 3 years before committing to Intensive Care. With a passion for learning, she soon became an academic teacher of her profession at a leading tertiary institution whilst holding a position in education in clinical practice.

She soon discovered through her own practice in ICU, and through barriers to achieving student results, that there was a profound need to implement regular self-care routines and practices to accommodate for the exceeding physical, mental and emotional demands of the Nursing profession.

Amy dived into her own personal health journey, changing her own lifestyle and obtaining qualifications in; Nutrition, Personal Training and Meditation. She now enjoys medication free remission from Crohns Disease (a first in 15 years). She applies her strategies in her daily life as an ICU Nurse, and spreads her message to help colleges of her profession through Wholehealth Magazine.
